Meet Buddy, the 10-week-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love, a spirit full of adventure, and a little "wonky" ear that makes him all the more special! When he was just 10 days old he came into our care and now he’s ready to find his forever family!

 

Buddy is your typical playful puppy—he loves exploring, chewing on bones, playing tug-of-war, and chasing balls. When playing tug-of-war with his brother Comet, Buddy tries to be tough, but his little growls are just too cute to take seriously! He might even “help” in the garden by picking a few flowers (oops!). He’s surprisingly calm and quiet for a pup and sticks to his bones when teething instead of nibbling on people. He’s independent but always checks in with mom Holly and his foster mama before setting off on his next adventure.

 

Buddy’s left ear is a bit "wonky," as he had an injury around 6-7 weeks old that caused it to curl back. It doesn’t hurt him, and it doesn’t affect his hearing—it’s just a little cosmetic quirk! We like to call it his "lucky fin" just like Nemo’s.

 

Buddy loves kids, cats, and most dogs, though bigger dogs can intimidate him at first. If you have a larger dog, it’s best to go slow and let Buddy warm up at his own pace. He’s a clever little guy who loves to problem-solve, figuring out new ways around barriers instead of just barking at them.

 

Buddy is not crate trained yet, but he is doing well with potty training! He’s been using potty pads and learning to go outside too, though he still has a few accidents. With the right guidance and a loving home, he’ll catch on quickly—he just needs a little extra patience to help him get there.
