Hi there! It’s me, Libby and I am ready for my FUR-ever home!!

I'm a lively gal, somewhere between 1-3 years old (my vet thinks I'm on the younger side).

I’ve been enjoying my time with the best foster family ever, and my daily routine has been packed with exciting activities, from chasing my giggle ball around the house to playing chase and wrestling with my foster siblings. Playing fetch in the backyard is another favorite of mine, and I'm always up for cuddling and giving kisses. One thing I have not been too fond of, though, is that pesky vacuum cleaner.

I came into foster care a little over a month ago after I was pulled from a shelter just hours before being euthanized for several medical conditions and a neck wound. Luckily, through love and advocacy, I was able to get the medical treatment I needed and now I’m all better! My foster parents have been taking good care of me, giving me weekly medicated baths and ear cleanings, along with allergy meds as needed. My ear is folded over due to a previous hematoma, but no worries, it's all healed up now.

I'm a friendly and social girl, both with other dogs and humans, including kids. I'm house-trained and can use the doggy door. When I get excited and want some attention or belly rubs, I’m not afraid to let you know. Sometimes, I may need a little help to redirect my excitement in a more appropriate way.

My ideal FUR-ever home would be one where I can get plenty of stimulation. I'd thrive in a place with dogs of a similar age or energy level or with parents who can spend lots of time with me. A yard would be a nice bonus, but frequent walks outside could work as well. I'm pretty well-behaved when it comes to not destroying things, but I do enjoy a good chew, so you'll want to keep any potential hazards out of my reach, like electrical cords, and stock up on plenty of chew toys!

Think we would be a great match? If so, please click on the link in the bio to complete an adoption application!
