Hi there, I’m Bonita – and yes, the name fits because I’m b-e-a-utiful! 💁‍♀️🐾

I’m a 4-year-old French Bulldog with a heart full of love and a second chance at life. I came from a breeder, but I’ve left that life behind. I beat something called pyometra (yuck, 0/10, do not recommend), and now I’m feeling great, healthy, and ready to start my happily-ever-after!

I may not be into toys (what are those even?), but every now and then I’ll humor a ball just to keep things interesting. I’m a laid-back kind of gal who’s all about the snuggles, the cuddles, and that sweet, sweet human affection. 💕

I’m not barky, I get along just fine with other dogs, and I’m even pretty good in a crate—although I’m not exactly crate trained, whatever that means. I do know one thing: I do NOT enjoy nail trims or ear cleanings, and I could use a teeth cleaning to get my breath to "kissable" status, but hey, no one’s perfect, right?

I sleep like a dream all night, and while I’m still working on this whole potty training thing, I promise I’m trying! I’m a smart cookie—I figured out the stairs to the bed in no time. Because obviously, a girl needs a throne. 🛏️👑

I’m great with other dogs and should be good with kiddos too! Haven’t met any cats yet, but I’m open-minded. If I had a doggy sibling to hang with, I’d be okay if you work. But my ideal home would have someone around most of the time—I love my people and just want to be where you are. 🥹❤️

My favorite hobbies? Chasing shadows (yes, mine and yours), stalking sparkly light reflections, and playing in the hose water. What can I say? I’m quirky and fabulous. 🌟💦
