Meet Flasher!
Flasher is a handsome 2-year-old French Bulldog weighing 27 pounds who is ready to find the forever family he has always deserved.
Just a few weeks ago, Flasher was on the euthanasia list at a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, we were able to step in and give him a second chance. After three weeks in foster care, he’s blossoming into a happy, loving little guy. He is now fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and ready to go home.
Flasher has old hematomas in both ears that healed on their own, giving him a unique look that makes him perfectly imperfect. They don’t bother him, and he has no medical needs.
This sweet boy is all about the simple things in life: snuggling, snacks, and lounging with his favorite people. He’s incredibly affectionate, super chill, and easygoing. As he’s settled into foster care, he’s finally learning how to play and just be a puppy. Watching him discover toys, run around the yard, bark happily outside, and enjoy life has been a joy.
Flasher is crate trained and knows how to use a doggie door. He has no destructive behaviors and no behavioral issues. He gets along well with other dogs, although he doesn’t appreciate being startled by them and may bark if caught off guard. Because of this, he’d do best with respectful canine companions. We haven’t had the opportunity to test him with cats, so they remain an unknown.
We also haven’t been able to test him with children, but given his calm and gentle personality, we think he’d likely do well with respectful kids who understand not to startle him.
Flasher would make a wonderful companion for an older couple, a first-time Frenchie owner, or anyone looking for a low-key best friend. He would also do well in an apartment as long as he gets regular walks and plenty of love.
If you’re looking for a loyal cuddle buddy with a heart as big as his adorable ears, Flasher is waiting to meet you. He’s survived the hardest part of his journey—now all he needs is a family to show him what forever feels like.
