Hi, it’s me, Ginny, and I am excited to share that I am ready to find my FUR-ever home! I promise, with me around, there’s never a dull moment. Whether I’m snoozing adorably or playing in the toy box, I’ll bring a lot of joy and laughter into your life.
I am a 10-month-old girl weighing a petite 16 pounds. My journey hasn’t been easy—I was found as a stray, taken to a shelter, and then adopted out only to be returned just over a week later. But that’s all in the past now thanks to Frenchie United Rescue! I have been enjoying my time in foster care in Riverside, CA
I’m a bundle of energy and affection, rating a 9 out of 10 on the energy scale and a full 10 for affection. I absolutely love playing with my furry friends, especially a good game of tug-of-war. The toy box is one of my favorite places to hang out, and I’m always ready to shower you with kisses. I get along with everyone—dogs, cats, and even the little humans. Although I’m not much of a barker, I do have the cutest raspy voice that’ll surely make you smile.
When it comes to my routine, I’ve got a pretty easy going schedule: wake up, play, eat, and repeat! I have access to dry kibble all day, so I can nibble whenever I’m hungry. During my time in foster care, I received treatment for loose stools and upset stomach. I’m on GI food and that has helped improve my tummy. I will run to the door to let you know when I need to go outside for potty breaks. While I’m crate trained and working hard on my potty training, I do still have occasional accidents, especially when I’m super excited. But hey, I’m on the mend and getting better every day.
I’d thrive in a home with a yard where I can run and play, and having another dog to keep me company would be a huge plus since I’m so young and playful. I’m still learning the ropes, so I need someone who’s patient and ready to help me continue to grow into the amazing pup I’m destined to be.
Think we would be a great match? If so, please click on the link in the bio to complete an adoption application! You could also help me find my FUR-ever home by sharing this with others who would be a perfect match.

Teddy
LOCATION: Pasadena, CA
AGE: 2 years old
SEX: Male/Neutered
WEIGHT:36 lbs

OTHER DOGS: Yes
CATS: yes
ADOPTION FEE: $600
Hi, it’s me, Teddy, and I am ready to find my FUR-ever home! If your looking for a true companion and a velcro-dog, I’m your guy!
I am a young 2 year old weighing in at 36 pounds. My journey hasn’t been easy—
I was picked up as a stray with dislocated hip possible due to been hit by a car. I had severe fly strikes on both ears and was extremely dirty. I was then scheduled for euthanasia at an animal shelter. Thanks to FUR, and my amazing foster home, I was rescued and had an orthopedic surgery that fixed the dislocation injury.
I LOVE people. I do engage with other dogs and am very playful. Since I got fixed my dominant behavior cut down. I love to sit or lay next to my humans and will sleep if they sleep. I eat kibble just fine. Foster mom says the cutest thing I do is: I love to put my head in your lap and rest it there. I love to give kisses and get kisses. And I know how to give Hi-Five!
I do not like dogs that are too aggressive in play. I played perfectly fine with the girl Frenchie who was my size and we were inseparable because she wasn’t to playful. When I met a larger dog who had a lot of energy, it felt overwhelming to me and did growl after some time to let him know I didn’t want to play. Calm simple play is all I need. I don’t have any aggression or destructiveness.
I’m super loving, I always try to lick hands when someone interacts with me. I have a very sunny disposition. I do have a stubborn side when it comes to walks. If i get tired I will stop and won’t move till I feel ok. Considering that I had an injury and then surgery, it might be the reason. Giving me breaks during walks is a good idea. I’m recovering wonderfully and my recent x-rays show that I’m just about fully recovered!
I am crate trained and potty training is going well. I may have an occasional accident but I do whine at the door to let you know when I need to go out. I would thrive in a home with lots of love and attention and accepts me as a family member. I will “cry” if my human ignores him for too long. I love to be interacted with and be included in your life. So best FUR-ever home will be with someone who wants a true companion. I am a Velcro dog. But I can be by myself and won’t destroy anything. I live in an apartment now, and I do great as long as I have multiple walks throughout the day.

Spanky
LOCATION: Long Beach, CA
AGE: 1 years old
SEX: Male/Neutered
WEIGHT:25 lbs
KIDS: yes, dog savvy children
OTHER DOGS: Yes, with proper slow introductions
CATS: unknown
ADOPTION FEE: $800
Hi, it’s me, Spanky, and I am ready to find my FUR-ever home! If your looking for a true companion and a velcro-dog, I’m your guy!
I am a young 1 year old weighing in at 25 pounds. My journey started out rough—I was picked up as a stray who was neglected and left in a shelter with battle wounds on my arms. Thanks to FUR, and my amazing foster home, I was rescued and got the love and care I needed.
While in foster care, I was treated for my wounds, neutered, and vaccinated. I don’t do well in a crate and have a hard time staying in my pen. Mostly because I just want to be with my human. I need someone patient to train me and work with me on controlling my anxiety. I’ve just been through a lot! I’m a little embarrassed to say, but I am not a fan or dark places or being in a dark place so I need a nightlight kept on at bedtime. I am potty trained, but it’s a good idea to keep a potty pad in the house if I’m left alone.
Some of my favorite things are; Toys, treats, and affection! Foster mom describes my temperament as “playful and affectionate!” My energy is about a 5 on a scale of 1-10, and my affection is an 8 out of 10. I like to roll on my back and play goofy and make my foster mom laugh.
A typical day with me includes; playing with my toys, taking naps, and following around everyone in the house. I would love to be your shadow. Because I can be a littler nervous at times, I do appreciate slow transitions when meeting new people or pets. I am fearful of new people especially males. However when introduced slowly, i warm up to them quickly. Lots of treats help too! I would really appreciate a family who understands the importance of slow transitions and introductions, and who can be patient with me as I learn to trust the world. Annnd a family who knows the power of treats! Treats really help me in my training.
