🩵Meet Blue 💙

Sometimes the hardest stories are the ones we never see coming.

Blue arrived in our care as an owner surrender, and it’s clear he’s been suffering for far too long. This sweet boy is battling a severely infected ear hematoma that is actively draining blood and pus, painful sores on some of the most sensitive parts of his body, and skin issues that appear to extend from his nose to his paws and beyond.

Despite the discomfort he’s living with every single day, Blue has done nothing but seek out kindness. He leans into pets, follows his foster around, and quietly tries to figure out this new world he’s been dropped into. He prefers the cool comfort of hard floors, likely because even lying down hurts.

The smell of infection is overwhelming. Every shake of his head sends blood and discharge flying. He was offered food and wasn’t interested, which tells us just how miserable he’s feeling. Yet somehow, through all of this, Blue remains gentle, sweet, and trusting.

Tomorrow can’t come soon enough. Our boy needs veterinary care immediately, and we know this is only the beginning of what will likely be a long road to healing.

Tonight, we’re asking for your prayers, positive thoughts, and support for Blue. He didn’t choose this. He didn’t ask to be in pain. But he is safe now, and we promise him that he will never have to suffer alone again.
