💜Welcome Mabel💜

Meet Mabel, a sweet 5-year-old girl who recently came into our care after being surrendered by her previous owner. Mabel was originally found wandering the streets—filthy, suffering from severe hair loss, and battling painful ear and yeast infections. A veterinarian suspected she had been used for breeding and then abandoned, a heartbreaking but common story known as a “breeder dump.”

Her former owner tried to get her the medical attention she needed, but over time, Mabel was not accepted by the resident dogs in the home. Wanting the best for her, the owner made the difficult but compassionate decision to surrender Mabel to our rescue.

Just last week, Mabel was spayed and vaccinated. Unfortunately, she had a rough recovery and experienced some post-surgical bleeding early the next morning. She was rushed back to the vet and, thankfully, is now stable and healing comfortably in her foster home.
Mabel is incredibly resilient and already showing signs of the sweet, loving dog she’s meant to be. Stay tuned for more updates as she continu
