After springing out of the shelter six weeks ago and into a loving foster home, this little lady has shaken off her kennel cough, added a few healthy curves just in time for bikini season, and is now thriving on her new three-meals-a-day lifestyle (a girl’s gotta brunch, right?).

Summer plays like it's still puppy time—chasing toys with the kind of energy that only the sunshine can bring. She’s also a world-class cuddler, gazing up at you with a big, toothy grin full of love that could melt even the iciest popsicle.

She’s a sun worshipper through and through, happiest when basking in the rays like a tiny beach bum. But while she’s sweet as lemonade with her humans, Summer likes her personal space when it comes to food and toys—sharing isn’t really her favorite forecast. She does best with dogs her own size, isn’t a fan of big pups or cats, and she’ll politely (or not-so-politely) let them know when they’ve crossed a boundary.
