Hi, it’s me, Roux. I’m a sweet 1-year-old girl living in Phoenix, AZ! Weighing in at a petite 24 lbs, I’m full of love and energy. I came into foster care because my previous family had too many dogs, but I’m ready to find my FUR-ever home where I can thrive!

One thing you should know is that I’m very energetic (a solid 9/10) and equally affectionate! I also enjoy car rides, especially when they end with a pup cup treat! I’m a huge fan of playing with other dogs and toys, especially when I can chew on a benebone or zoom around the house and yard. Cuddling on a soft blanket is my absolute favorite way to wind down after all that playtime! I do okay in a crate if needed but I prefer to be with people as often as possible.

I’ve got a sweet, cuddly personality and love following my foster family around the house. I’m very gentle when taking treats and super excited at meal times. While I was in foster care, I’ve been spayed and vaccinated and I have a clean
bill of health from my vet.

Potty training is going well, but I still have accidents indoors as I haven’t quite figured out how to let my foster mom know when I need to go out. I’m also working on commands like “off” and “down” to curb my jumping. 

I’m curious, which means I sometimes grab things to chew, but I quickly learn they aren’t as fun as my toys. While I’m a sweet girl, I do have some quirks like pawing at faces and jumping without checking my landing spot so I might not be the best fit for small children just yet.
