Meet Eli — Your Perfect Valentine 

 

Eli is a 5-year-old, 25-lb French Bulldog with the sweetest soul and an irresistibly cute face that’s ready to steal your heart. After losing his people, Eli found himself alone and abandoned. He ended up in a shelter without a home, but he never lost his loving spirit. 

Since being in foster care, Eli has received medical care he needed for his skin and allergies, and is now thriving in a wonderful foster home, soaking up sunshine, affection, and patiently waiting for his forever Valentine!

 

Eli is a true people-dog who wants to be wherever his humans are; because love is better when it’s shared. He happily follows his foster family from room to room and lives for belly rubs, cuddles, treats, and gentle attention. When he’s especially excited, he’ll roll right onto his back to show you exactly where to rub—his signature move and a guaranteed heart-melter.

He has the cutest little voice he uses to let you know when it’s potty time or when someone might be knocking on your heart (or the front door). Eli knows his name, listens well, and already has some charming tricks up his sleeve, including sit and high five/shake. He’s fully potty trained and crate trained, because every great Valentine comes with good manners.

Eli enjoys the company of small children and other dogs and is friendly and social overall. That said, he’d also be perfectly happy being your one and only if it means soaking up all of your love. Cats? He’s still undecided, he hasn’t ruled out love, but he’s keeping his options open.

Like many Frenchies, Eli has a few ongoing care needs. He has sensitive skin and is followed by dermatology for management. He’s on a hydrolyzed diet that has already shown improvement, along with allergy medications and regular baths to keep him comfortable and feeling his best.

 

Eli loves car rides, short bursts of play, and relaxing at home with his people. He gets along well with all his foster fur siblings and doesn’t need a big yard, just a little space to stretch his legs and a whole lot of love to fill his heart. What matters most to him is being included in daily life, whether that’s cozy snuggle time or gentle play.
