Bentley is an adorable 18-month-old French Bulldog looking for his perfect forever home! This handsome boy came into foster care after his previous owner had to move to housing that didn't allow pets. Now he's ready for a fresh start with a family who understands and appreciates the unique personality of the Frenchie breed.
Bentley is fully vaccinated, neutered, up to date on flea prevention, and has received an allergy injection. He has no ongoing medical conditions or special needs and enjoys eating 1 cup of kibble twice a day.
If you love a dog with personality, Bentley is your guy! He's smart, funny, affectionate, and full of playful energy. His favorite things include chasing tennis balls, carrying stuffed toys around the house, playing tug-of-war, meeting new people, and soaking up as many belly rubs as he can get. One of his cutest habits is proudly parading around with a ball or stuffed toy in his mouth, just waiting for someone to admire him.
Like many young French Bulldogs, Bentley is intelligent, a little stubborn, and still learning his manners. He knows how to sit, is working on "stay," and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement and obedience training. He enjoys being close to his people and has some separation anxiety that is steadily improving as he settles into a predictable routine.
Bentley is looking for an experienced home that can help him continue to grow into the best version of himself. He would do best as the only pet, as he is not comfortable around other dogs or animals and can become reactive when he sees them. He also prefers not to have toys or valued items taken away from him, so his new family should be willing to continue working on training and boundaries. Because he can sometimes become overly excited during play and hasn't been around small children, we feel he would be happiest in an adult-only home or with older, dog-savvy children.
Bentley is house-trained with continued consistency, has not been destructive in his foster home, and is happiest when he's spending time with his people. He would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the day to provide companionship, structure, exercise, and lots of love.
Bentley isn't looking for a perfect family—he's looking for the right family. Someone who understands that young dogs require patience, guidance, and commitment will be rewarded with an incredibly loyal, affectionate, and entertaining companion.
Could Bentley be the missing piece in your family? If you think you can give this sweet, goofy Frenchie the loving forever home he deserves, we'd love to hear from you!
