💔 Meet Maple & Mochi 💔

These two sweet girls were abandoned by their owner and left behind in hot, hungry, thirsty, and deplorable conditions. Neighbors had been bringing them food and water just to make sure they had something to eat and drink.When we learned about their situation, we knew we couldn’t leave these girls behind.Sadly, Maple and Mochi are another heartbreaking example of what can happen when dogs are adopted through shelters, free adoption events, or other avenues and then ultimately neglected. These girls deserved so much better.Both Maple and Mochi are suffering from extremely painful ear infections and ear polyps. We don’t know how long they have been living with this pain, but we do know that they are finally safe. ❤️They are now in rescue and will begin the medical care they desperately need, including full veterinary examinations and, most likely, ear surgery to address the damage caused by their prolonged neglect.Their journey is just beginning, and their medical bills will be significant.
