Meet Louie - in Orange County, CA.

Louie is a 2-year-old French Bulldog with a big heart packed into his 28-pound frame. This sweet boy came to rescue as an owner surrender, along with his fur sibling, when it became clear he needed more attention and care than his previous home could provide. Since then, Louie has been thriving in foster care and is ready to find a forever family of his own.

 

Louie has had quite the glow-up—he’s now neutered, fully vaccinated, treated for allergies, and even had nares surgery to help him breathe easier. With all that behind him, his personality is really shining through.

If you’re looking for a cuddle companion, Louie is your guy. He’s a certified snuggle bug who absolutely lives for affection—he’ll happily rest his head in your lap any chance he gets. On the energy scale, he’s a perfect middle-of-the-road 5: playful enough to enjoy a good game of fetch or chase a ball, but just as happy to lounge and soak up love. On the affection scale? A solid 10.

 

Louie gets along well with other dogs and enjoys their company, and he’s also good with children. He’s crate trained and potty trained, and he eats his salmon kibble like a champ twice a day.

 

Like many young pups, Louie is still learning the ropes. He’s working on leash manners (he can be a bit of a puller) and figuring out what’s a toy versus what’s not—so he’ll benefit from a home committed to continued training and guidance. He’s eager to learn and just needs someone patient to show him the way.

Louie isn’t a big fan of car rides just yet, likely because he hasn’t had much experience, but with time and positive exposure, he could grow more comfortable.
