Meet Holly, a sweet and snuggly French Bulldog residing in San Diego, who's ready to leave her rough past behind and find her forever home. Holly is a recent momma, about 3 years old, and weighs a solid 28 lbs. She’s done her time raising pups and is now on the lookout for a family that will pamper her with all the love and belly rubs she deserves!
Though Holly’s start in life wasn’t easy, she’s got a heart full of love to give—especially if it involves being close to you. She’s an expert cuddle bug and will happily plop her little paws on your legs, just waiting for you to scoop her up. 🐾 Need a break from your busy day? Holly is great on a leash and will gladly join you for slow, leisurely strolls around the block, but don’t expect her to race you to the finish line! In fact, if you go too far, she just might ask you to carry her home (don’t worry, she’s not shy about it).
She also enjoys taking it slow with new introductions, whether it's to people or her new environment. She’s potty trained, but will relieve herself on potty pads when indoors. Holly hasn't spent a lot of time in a crate, but seems to do well for short periods. Holly just wants to be near you, whether you're working, relaxing, or cuddling on the couch.
Holly's a bit fearful of men, but warms up to them much quicker when they get down to her level. She has no interest in sharing her space with other dogs - it can make her a little cranky - so she’ll need to be your one and only pup or with submissive dogs. Cats? She’s indifferent. Holly has been good with young kids who respect her boundaries - some have even received a kiss! But mostly, she's just focused on her person and making sure you both enjoy a peaceful, low-key life together. She's a great fit for a quiet household, and if you're living in an apartment, she’ll be your perfect little companion. Its her time to shine!
She’s treat-motivated (who isn't?), but has been a bit finicky about chew bones. She is currently on a special food for sensitive tummies and skin and when she is done with her meal, she’ll let you know by flipping her food bowl—because even in the world of mealtime, she’s got a flair for the dramatic!
