Penelope
π Meet Penelope! π
After everything she’s been through, Penelope finally has a safe place to land. π₯Ήβ€οΈ
Penelope is a 2-year-old spayed female who was abandoned at the Henderson shelter. The shelter environment was overwhelming, and she struggled with fear and anxiety. She is also being treated for a URI.
Now, Penelope has a foster home—and she’s settling in wonderfully! πΎπ
Her foster mom shared that Penelope is already making fast friends. She sleeps with her foster mom’s grandchildren, has met her little pack , loves kids, and gets along wonderfully with the other dogs in the home. π₯Ήβ€οΈ
In her quiet, loving environment, we’re seeing more of Penelope—a sweet girl who wants to connect.
She still needs patience, structure, slow introductions, positive training, and time to decompress. But she’s showing that she’s capable of so much more than the fear she experienced in the shelter.
πβ‘οΈβ€οΈ From a scared girl at the shelter to a girl sleeping safely with her foster family’s grandchildren and making friends with the dogs… this is why fostering matters.
Penelope, you are finally where you belong. We can’t wait to watch you blossom. πΎπ
